Rohit Paudel smashed 3rd Consecutive Half-century against West Indies

Nepal’s Skipper Rohit Paudel smashed 3rd Consecutive Half-century against West Indies leading his team from the front against West Indies A side but ended in the losing cause after Nepal failed to chase massive target of 210 runs.

Nepal and West Indies A side were clashing in the fourth unofficial T20I match of Nepal vs West Indies A 5-match T20 series at TU ground Kirtipur.

West Indies A side posted 209 runs to the boards while batting first and started brilliantly with the ball dismissing Aasif Sheikh for a duck.

Nepal’s Skipper Rohit Paudel entered the crease in the first over and started playing his shot. 

The wickets Kept falling from the other side as Struggling Bhurtel yet again got dismissed for a single-digit score. Kushal Malla was also dismissed earlier and all the responsibility was left over to the skipper.

Rohit Paudel smashed an impactful Half-century in just 34 balls while Nepal was struggling with the runs.

Rohit and Dipendra Singh Airee were looking good in the crease converting singles into doubles.

Rohit played a knock of 82 runs in just 47 balls with 5 sixes and 7 fours and got caught while trying to go big against Walsh but Walsh got his second wicket. Nepal was reduced to 124/5 in the 13.2 over after Rohit’s departure.

Rohit Paudel had already smashed a brilliant century in the first match where Nepal successfully chased down the target of 205 runs and won the match by 4 wickets.

Nepal lost the second match against West Indies A side by just 10 runs while chasing the target of 160 runs where Rohit Paudel had played a crucial knock in that match too but failed to cross the line..

Rohit Paudel was rested by the management in the third T20 match against the West Indies and the team was led by Dipendra Singh Airee. 

West Indies posted 227 runs to the boards with a century knock from Roston Chase but Nepal only managed to post 151 runs and got bundled out losing the match by 76 runs.

In the 4th T20I match, West Indies posted 209 on the boards batting first but Nepal failed to chase the target and only managed to get 181 runs to the boards.

Rohit was the highest run scorer for the Nepal carrying his side alone in the grounds in the match with 82 runs in 47 balls.

Sundeep Jora, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Gulshan Jha marked a coincidence with the bat as all three batters got dismissed after hitting 19 runs in 14 deliveries.

Nepal lost the 4th unofficial T20I match by 28 runs and lost the series as West Indies A side emerged as the Series Winner with 1 match remaining which will contribute Nepal nothing more than a win if they managed to get it.
