In an ongoing ACC Premier T20 Cup Dipendra Singh Airee Smashed 6 sixes in an over against Malaysian Bowler Kamran Khan.

Nepal and Malaysia were playing the 7th game at Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket(Ministry Turf 1) of ACCPremier T20 Cup. Nepal won the toss and decided to bat first against Qatar. 

In the first game against Malaysia Nepal won by 5 wickets registering their first victory in the tournament.

Nepal started well in the powerplay overs and was 42/1 at the end of the first 5 overs. Nepal was heading to reach the 200 run mark but the middle-order batter didn’t perform as expected and got imbalanced at the death overs until the 19th over.

Dipendra Singh Airee came to bat at No 6 for Nepal when Kushal Mall departed playing a crucial inning of 35 runs in 18 balls. 

Airee started with big hits for Nepal. Despite Wickets kept on falling from the other end but Dipendra Singh Airee looked calm and composed but showcased an aggressive intent with the bat.

Dipendra Singh Airee scored 13 runs in the penultimate over of the first inning keeping himself in strike after Bibek Yadav got out early. 

Kamran Khan came to bowl the 20th over of the inning when Nepal was at 174/7 and Dipendra Singh Airee was at 28 runs in 15 balls.

Dipendra Singh Airee played the first ball towards the midwicket for six, the second ball went over the point for another six, the third ball repeated the first shots over the mid-wicket for a maximum, and the fours ball of the over was hit toward the cover-point for a maximum, the fifth and sixth over the mid-wicket to make it 6 out of 6 sixes in an over.

He becomes only the 3rd batter to hit 6 sixes in an over in the Intl format. Airee remains unbeaten for Nepal scoring 64 runs in 21 deliveries with 7 sixes and 3 fours. 

Nepal crossed the 200-run mark with the help of Airee’s brilliant batting at the end and posted 210 runs on the board losing 7 wickets.
