Today’s Ipl Match : Gujarat Titans vs Sunriser Hyderabad IPL 2024

Shubman-led Gujarat and Sunriser Hyderabad will be locking horns at Narendra Modi Stadium in the first match of the Second double Header of IPL 2024 on 31 March 2024. Both sides have won 1 out of 2 matches each. This will be the 12th match of IPL2024. 

GT vs SRH Head-to-Head 

Titans and Hyderabad had been head-to-head just 3 times in the short career of Titans. Among 3 matches GT was victorious in 2 while Hyderabad had only dominated in 1 match.

The highest score of GT against SRH is 192 and the lowest is 162. Hyderabad had similar stats with 195 as highest and 154 as the lowest score. 

SRH in IPL 2024

SRH had played its first match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Batting first Kolkata posted a total of 208 runs with an absolute inning from Andre Russel’s. In the runchase, SRH had shown a great batting effort against but fell short by 4 runs.

In the last match against Mumbai Indians, Sunriser Hyderabad registered the highest target of 277 runs in the history of IPL on their home ground. Mumbai showcased brilliant batting effort while chasing and scored 246 runs losing 5 wickets but still fell short by 31 runs and Sunriser Hyderabad won by 31 runs. Heinrich Klassen had performed brilliantly in both the matches. 

Sunriser Hyderabad is the only team to score 200+ score in both the matches they have played so far. It will be metal chewing for the Titans Bowler in the absence of Mohammad Shami to drag down the SRH to register 2nd win in the tournament.

GT in IPL 2024

Gujarat Titans had played their first match against Mumbai and won the match by pulling the victory from the Jaws of defeat. Brilliant captaincy in utilizing the bowler at the death over by Shubman led the Titans to their first win under Shubman. GT had won by 6 runs against MI. 

Titans Played its second match against Defending Champion and suffered brutally as they were handed the biggest loss in the history of their career from 2022–25. CSK posted a total of 206 runs but Gujarat managed to score only 143 losing 8 wickets and CSK won the match by 63 runs

According to Google’s win predictor, both have equal chance to grab their 2nd victory of the season with 50% each for both sides.
