A cricketer from Nepal Sandeep Lamichhane breaks his Silence through his social media handles after the announcement of the Nepal Squad for T20 World Cup.
Sandeep Lamichhane was accused of raping an 18-year-old girl in August 2022. His case went on long in the court and later he was sentenced to eight years in jail in January this year by the Kathmandu Court after being convicted of rape.
The right-arm leg-spin bowler shared a cryptic post with a single emoji in it after the announcement of the Nepal Squad under Skipper Rohit Paudel.
One hour after the first cryptic emoji post, Lamichhane finally broke his silence through his social media handles claiming to be the victim of the conspiracy.
Sandeep Laichhane wrote and shared through his social media handles mentioning “I refrained myself from long to post. I have no doubt that I am a victim of conspiracy. May God bless them all who played their roles in this conspiracy. I leave everything up to God. Time will tell the truth unless revealed.”
Lamichhane didn’t stop there, a few hours later he added another post targeting those who played the dirty game against him, he also mentioned revealing those names in the conspiracy.
He wrote and shared through his social media handle“I respect the laws and orders of the respective courts but I promise everyone to reveal the names of each and every single individual who played their roles in this conspiracy very soon including everyone who are involved in the case.”
Lamichhane had moved to the Patan High Court of Nepal after being proven guilty by district Court of Kathmandu. His case is yet pending in the Patan High Court of Nepal after being postponed a few days earlier and his hearing is expected to be in the next few days.
