Regular Opening Batters Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh came to open for Nepal. Runs on the board were below average for Nepal to chase still Nepal approached aggressively.

Rohit Paudel and Anil Shah played till the end to seal the first victory in the SMS Friendship Cup for Nepal. Nepal completely won the match one-sided in just 15. 1 overs losing just 2 wickets.
Anil Shah played an unbeaten 32 runs in 35 balls while Rohit Paudel finished the game with a boundary-scoring unbeaten 33 runs in 26 balls. Nepal won the match by 8 wickets.
