In Ongoing IPL 2024 edition’s 25th Match Rishabh Pant was seen having a long argument for a ball bowled by Ishant Sharma to wide down ti the le side on his final over of the spell.
The umpire called it wide immediately and Unsatisfied with the on-field Umpire decision, Pant pulled the Umpire into a lengthy conversation.
The confusion led the stuff up to the third umpire on review demand by Rishabh Pant but the third Umpire clarified it was a wide delivery and had to be rebowled.
Besides having some heat on the field, Rishabh Pant and his men made the runchase look easier by chasing down with 11 balls left and winning the match by 6 wickets at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
