West Indies A team will be touring Nepal in April-May for a 5-match T20 series against Nepal’s Men Cricket team. The Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) has announced the confirmation of the tour through their Social Media Handles.
According to CAN, the West Indies A side will visit Nepal to play 5 T20 matches from the 25th of April to the 5th of May. Nepal A side will be highly benefitted from the Series. Match Schedules are yet to be confirmed by CAN.
Nepal Cricket Team had just completed the SMS Friendship T20 Cup in Vapi Gujarat and reigned as Champion in the series between Nepal, Gujarat, and Vapi. Nepal defeated Gujarat in the final to become chapion. Nepal A team had also played 3 match OD series and 3 match T20 series against Ireland A team despite ending in the losing side.
The Nepal Cricket Team is expected to benefit from the West Indies tour of Nepal, as both the bowling and batting units will tested well against the strong side of West Indies. The last time Nepal and West Indies had clashed was in june 22 in ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier where West Indies posted 339 runs in the board while battinf first and won the match by 101 runs as Nepal managed to score 238 runs only.
