South Africa’s Squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 is finally announced on April 30 Tuesday for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the USA and West Indies in June.
South Africa had named their squad under the skipper Aiden Markaram as Markaram was appointed as captain of South Africa in T20Is on March 2023.
The South African team will first time under the Captaincy of Aiden Markaram

Travelling reserves: Nandre Burger and Lungi Ngidi.
Only 2 uncapped players are included in the South African squad for T20 World Cup 2024, Ryan Rickelton and Ottniel Baartman. Ryan Rickelton and Ottinel Baartman are included in the 15-member squad due to their briliiant performance in SA20.
Ryan Rickelton was the leading run scorer in the SA20 with 530 runs and Ottinel Baartman with 18 wickets in 8 matches were teh top performer of the SA20.

Fixtures of SA in T20 World Cup 2024
South Africa will begin their T20 World Cup tournament by playing its first game against Sri Lanka in the USA and will play against the Netherlands, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
1st match
vs Sri lanka on June 3 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.
2nd Match
vs Netherlands on June 8 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.
3rd Match
vs Bangladesh on June 10 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.
4th Match
vs Nepal on June 15 at Arnos Vale Stadium.
