Pakistan won the fifth T20I Match in the Gaddafi stadium against New Zealand which had already grabbed 2 wins in the series and the Series ended in a Tie.

Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Usama Fir came up with brilliant performances in the match that caused the Pakistan vs New Zealand series end in a tie.

Fifth T20I match Pakistan vs New Zealand

On the Batting Side, Babar Azam scored 69 runs in 44 deliveries with 6 boundaries and 2 maximum at a strike rate of 156.82.

Usman Khan added 31 runs in 24 deliveries with 3 boundaries and 2 maximum.

Fakhar Zaman’s 43 runs in 33 deliveries with 4 boundaries and a maximum helped Pakistan to get stabilized in the middle overs and Shadab Khan’s quick cameo of 15 runs in the end helped Pakistan to post 178 to the board losing 5 wickets.

on the bowling side of New Zealand, An average bowling effort seems as Zakary Foulkes, Will O’Rourke, Ben Sears, Ish Sodhi, and James Neesham bagged 1 wicket each for the side. 

Skipper Michael Bracewell only remains wicketless for the New Zealand Side conceded 28 runs in 3 overs.

New Zealand started well in the power play over losing just 1 wicket and going with a run rate of about 10 but lost their second wicket in the Nineth over as strong-looking Tim Seifert got bowled out by Usama Fir which led the foundation of Pakistan’s comeback in the game.

Wickets kept falling for New Zealand at regular intervals, None of the batters were able to set a partnership for the New Zealand that caused the game for the side.

Skipper Michael Bracewell departed after a slow inning of 23 runs in 21 deliveries with 2 boundaries and a maximum. Mark Chapman also got dismissed by Usama fir in just 12 runs in 12 deliveries.

Shaheen Shah Afridi’s two wicket on 2 balls and caused them to lose 6 wickets for just 40 runs in 39 ballsand also costed them a series after getting boosted start.

Josh Clarkson put effort at the end for New Zealand but other batters couldn’t help Clarkson and New Zealand got bundled out for just 169 runs in 19.2 overs and Pakistan Won the 5th T20I match by 9 runs.

Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up a valuable 4 wickets for Pakistan that assisted Pakistan in defending the total after a poor start with the ball.

Usama Fir bowled an economical spell for Pakistan conceding just 21 runs with 1 maiden over and bagged 2 valuable wickets of Tim Seifert and Mark Chapman in his 4-over spell. 

Shaheen Shah Afridi conceded just 30 runs with an economy rate of 7.50 and bagged 4 wickets in his name.

Shaheen Shah Afridi became the Player of the Match for his 4/30 spell and also the Player of the series.

First T20 Match Pakistan vs New Zealand 

The first match of the series was abandoned due to rain despite being reduced the game was abandoned. Shaheen Sha Afridi bowled a few balls but rain interrupted the play and the match was abandoned.

Second T20 Match Pakistan vs New Zealand

Pakistan bagged a comfortable win over New Zealand in the 2nd T20 after New Zealand were bowled out for just 90 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi bagged 3 wickets, Mohammad Amir, and Shadab Khan bagged 2 wickets each for the side. 

Pakistan chased the small target within just 13 overs losing 3 wickets and took a 1–0 lead in the series.

Shaheen Shah Afridi was the Player of the match for his 3 wickets.

Third T20 Match Pakistan vs New Zealand

In the third T20 match, Pakistan posted 178 runs on the boards losing just 4 wickets after New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl first.

The average target set by Pakistan batters was chased down by the New Zealand young side in just 18.2 overs with 10 balls left and came back in the series and level with 1–1.

Mark Chapman became player of the match for his unbeaten 87 runs in 42 deliveries with 9 boundaries and 2 maximum at a strike rate of almost 208.

Fourth T20 Match Pakistan vs New Zealand

In the fourth T20 match, New Zealand registered yet another win to take the lead in the series by 2–1.

New Zealand batting first posted 178 runs on the board losing 7 wickets and successfully defended the target restricting Pakistan for just 174/8 in 20 overs to win the match by 4 runs.

Tim Robinson’s Fifty pushed New Zealand to a strong total after stuggling in the middle overs.Young debutant Will O’Rourke won Player of the Match after bagging 3 valuable wickets and conceding just 27 runs in his 4-over spell.

In the end, Pakistan won the 5th T20i match to end the series in a tie after 2 wins by Pakistan and 2 by New Zealand in just 4 matches played of the series. Pakistan and New Zealand remain joint winner of the sereis.
