The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) invited all the team owners of IPL franchises for an informal meeting on the 16th of April. The meeting is set to coincide with the match between the Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans at Narendra Stadium.
BCCI had not mentioned any agenda of the meeting but The agenda of the meeting is expected to be things around the mega auction to be held later this year. The agenda is expected to be around the Player’s Salary, Uncapped player salary, and the purse amount for the upcoming Auction.
This meeting provides an opportunity for team owners to talk about their issues. Recently IPL mini-auction attracted the attention of the cricket world after Mitchell Starc was bought by Sunriser Hyderabad for the whopping amount of 24.75 cr INR. Pat Cummins was also bought by KKR for a huge amount of 20.25 crore INR.
