Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan Unsold At The 100 Draft 2024

Former Pakistan’s Captain Babar Azam and wicket-keeper batsmen Mohammad Rizwan remain unsold at The 100 draft 2024 on Wednesday evening (20 March).

A total of 890 players across 22 different countries are registered for The Hundred teams across the Men’s and Women’s Draft. Among 890 players 65 Pakistan cricketers, 60 men and 5 women had registered for 2024 The Hundred Draft.

According to recent news, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Pakistan’s young Pacer and T20 captain Shaheen Afridi had registered for the draft at the last minute.

Babar, Rizwan, and Afridi had been the last-minute additions with a reserve price of £100,000.

 Welse Fire picked up Shaheen Afridi for the amount of £100,000. Shaheen Afridi had also represented the Welse Fire franchise last time. Haris Rauf has been retained by the team.

Imad Wasim who was Man of the Match for his fabulous fifer and match-winning knock in PSL Season 9 finals is picked up by Trent Rockets for an amount of £100,000. 

 Naseem Shah was picked by Birmingham Phoenix for an amount of £125,000.

Many other International big names like David Warner, Tim David, and Jason Roy along with some Pakistan stars Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, and Iftikhar Ahmed were not picked by any of the franchises.

The fourth edition of The Hundred is scheduled to kick off on July 23.
