In the ongoing DishHome Fibernet Ireland Wolves Tour Nepal OD series Young Arjun Kumal smashed a Century against the strong bowling unit of Ireland Wolves.
Young Arjun Kumal got a chance to play in the OD series but couldn’t make a great impact in the game in the first match. Arjun played well leading the team from the front while chasing the huge target of 284 runs. He is also the hero of Nepal U-19 also smashed 90 runs with 12 fours in the U-19 Worldcup against New Zealand.
Nepal lost the first 2 matches of the OD series while fighting with great intent against the Ireland Wolves. Arjun Kumal smashed a boundary to complete his fifty runs in 75 balls and completed his first Century(100) for Nepal in just 114 balls.
Besides Arjun Kumal’s 103 runs and Arjun Saud’s 36 runs for Nepal, no other batter came up to build the inning to lead for a successful runchase resulting in Nepal getting a clean sweep in the OD series and losing the 3rd match by 69 runs. Arjun Kumal’s Century went in vain after Nepal lost the match by 69 runs.
