Yash Dayal was hit for 5 consecutive sixes in the 20th over of the match against KKR in ipl 2023. He opens up about the difficult phase of his life about the emotional and mental breakdown in his life.

Mohammad Siraj was seen interviewing Dayal about his past experienceand about the difference in feelings playing for different franchise and asked about what he felt and about his mental attitude after he was hit for 5 consecutive sixes. Dayal responded to Siraj and said “ After the GT vs KKR game last season, I was asked not to see the social media but I still went on. I felt hurt about what people think of me, hurt more when they didn’t realize what background I came from and play cricket. I fell ill after the match. I know I am not the first person and won’t be the last who has gone through this. So I worked on the process rather than the outside noise,” via the IPL website

Yash Dayal had been part of Gujarat Titans in the last edition of IPL 2023. In the 13th match of IPL 2023, a home game of Titans against Kolkata Knight Rider 29 runs were needed off the final over. Yash Dayal was brought to bowl the ultimate over and conceded 5 consecutive sixes in the last 5 balls of the over. Rinku’s Finisher inning against Dayal became the end of Dayal’s career with the Titans.

Dayal was sidelined for the remaining matches of Gujarat and eventually released from the Squad. As a result, RCB picked Dayal in a mini-auction for INR 5 crore that took place last year in December.

Recently Murali Kartik also commented on Yash Dayal and is getting brutally trolled on Social media handles for his insensitive words on Yash Dayal. Murali Kartik said, “ Someone’s trash is someone’s treasure”.

Fans completely burst into anger and trolled Murali Kartik for it. Dayal is now a part of Royal Challenger Bengaluru’s squad where he picked up wickets in both the matches vs CSK and PBKS.
