Abdullah Shafique registered back-to-back ducks against South Africa

Abdullah Shafique created an unwanted record in his name after he got dismissed for another duck in the second ODI match at Newlands Cricket Ground. He was dismissed for a 4-ball duck in the 1st ODI match.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second ODI match. South Africa was defeated by Pakistan in the 1st ODI match at Boland Park Cricket Ground.

Pakistan’s playing 11 for 2nd ODI

Pak opened the inning with their regular opener, batter Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub. Saim Ayub was the impact performer and centurion in the last match.

Shafique was dismissed in the 4th delivery of the very first over. Heinrich Klassen did the work behind the stumps after Marco Yansen came in from over the wicket from a good length outside off.

Shafique got the outside edge, and the ball went straight to Klaseen’s gloves, and he did the job to send back Shafiqe for another duck.

Shafiq was previously clean-bowled by Marco Yansen but got unlucky with an outside edge this time.
