Pakistani Veteran all-rounder Shahid Afridi made a bold statement on behalf of Pakistani fans in an interview with News 24.
Shahid Afridi stated to News 24″Virat ko jo pyaar India mein mila hai, mere khayal se voh pyaar bhool jaayega. Pakistan mein bohot craze hai, usko bohot pasand karte hai. Even Mera favorite player Hai Voh. Virat ki apni ek class hai.( In my opinion, Virat will forget the love he has received in India when he visits Pakistan because there are lots of fans and craze of him in Pakistan. He is my favorite cricketer too he has his own class),”
The big claims of Veteran Shahid Afridi show his admiration for an Indian cricketer, who is on the list of greatest batsman of all time.

Recently Virat Kohli announced his retirement from T20I cricket after ending the victorious campaign in Barbados defeating South Africa by 7 runs.
Virat Kohli was awarded Player of the Match in the final game for his 76 runs in 59 balls. Immediately after he announced his retirement from the T20I Cricket. However, he will continue playing in ODIs and Test Cricket.
Afridi has also congratulated Rohit and Co for their victorious campaign of T20 World Cup 2024 at Barbados.

With News 24, he mentioned the love and craze of Virat Kohli in Pakistan He further added “He should have continued playing T20Is since he makes it look beautiful. He’s fit, in form, and keeps on training. His presence would have benefitted the new players in the team. You cannot blood in so many youngsters at the same time. There should be a combination of senior and junior players. What Virat could have taught them, nobody else can,”
