Ravi Bishnoi bagged 4 wickets against Zimbabwe while conceding just 13 runs in his 4-over spell.

As India fans are yet to end their celebration of the T20 World Cup Victory, Ravi Bishnoi gave more reason to celebrate with his 4-wicket spell in the first match against Zimbabwe.

As the senior team flew back to India and is enjoying their second T20 World Cup Trophy celebration another young ipl-powered team led by young Skipper Shubman Gill is on the tour to Zimbabwe for the five-match T20I series against the Zimbabwe.

All matches will be played in the Harare Sports Club from 6th July to 14 July. 

In the first match, India won the toss and elected to bowl first asking the host nation to bat first. Mukesh Kumar strikes early in his first however second over of the inning dismissing Innocent Kaia for a duck. 

Skipper Gill didn’t wait for the power play to end and introduced Spinner Ravi Bishnoi in the last over of the first power play overs.

Ravi Bishnoi strikes in his first ball of the over dismissing Brian Bennett for 22 runs in 15 deliveries. 

However, the decision went to the TV-umpire and the on-field umpire reversed his decision to out and Zimbabwe was 40/2 at the end of the 6 overs. Bishnoi conceded just a single run in his first over with a wicket.

Bishnoi was brought back in the 8th over and again dismissed the set-opening batter Wesley Madhevere. Madhevere was clean bowled by Ravi Bishnoi and Bishnoi got his second wicket.

Bishnoi was handed to bowl the 14th over of the inning however, he conceded 10 runs in that over starting with the boundary in the first ball.

Bisnoi was again showered trust by his young skipper Shubman Gill and he didn’t upset his skipper. He dismissed Luke Jongwe in the first ball of the final over of his spell. Zimbabwe was reduced to 90/8 at the beginning of the 16th over.

Ravi Bishnoi again troubled Zimbabwe’s lower order with the ball by dismissing Blessing Mujarabani for a duck in the same over and ended the spell with 2 wickets and a maiden.

He ended his attack with 4 wickets while conceding just 13 runs in his 4-over spell at the economy rate of 3.25.
