If Australia Beat India

If Australia defeats India in their last Super Eight game of the Super Eight stage Australia will have 4 points and a healthy run rate while Afghanistan needs to lose the game against Bangladesh that is the simple way of Australia’s qualification scenario.

If Australia got Defeated by India

In the second scenario, If Australia gets defeated by India their chance of qualification will drastically decrease however, losing by a small margin against India will still assist Australia to qualify.

There will be still a chance for Australia if Bangladesh defeats Afghanistan by a small margin then all three teams Australia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh will end up with only 2 points.

Bangladesh has a huge negative run rate of above -2 which looks tough to recover and needs victory with very very high margins.

All three teams are at 2 points but Australia will qualify for the Semi-Finals by their healthy run rate.

Here’s a look at the points table if all the above conditions are met.
